Amazing food and service!

The Service and the fried rice were fantastic! The chicken wings portions were great, but a tad dry. Would definitely come back again!

Excellent Thai in downtown. My favourite Thai restaurant in all of Vancouver, actually. The curry was mild as ordered and had a great amount of chicken. The chicken satay was tasty and not at all dry. The Tom Ka Gai soup was also quite good. Will definitely be back!

Best pad Thai I've had in years

Ok, this is one of those situations where I’m reluctant to leave a 5 star review because when everyone finds out about this it is going to be crazy busy! But I have to give credit to the Thai Away Home in City Square mall. The AYCE lunch special is fantastic. Much higher quality and flavours than the average food court establishment. Everything was delicious!!

Thai Away Home is a staple takeout option in my rotation. They have one of the best deals in the city which includes crispy veggie wontons, salad, noodles, curry, coconut rice, and hot and sour soup broth for $50. Portions are HUGE and my boyfriend and I are usually left with enough leftovers for the next day. We always get the same—tofu pad Thai, red curry with chicken (both medium spice). Truthfully, I have never dined in but service staff always greet you with a smile and I’ve never waited more than 30 minutes from the time I’ve ordered to when I’ve picked up!

Excellent Thai meal - the location is not great so we were a bit apprehensive, but this place is great! Even our fussiest child declared it delicious- a rare accolade... Quick and friendly service- thank you.

My name is Rebecca, and I frequently order takeaway from your restaurant which has always been absolutely amazing. Today, my boyfriend came to your restaurant to order a Pad Thai with shrimp. I’m writing this review to get your attention because, unfortunately, the shrimp in the dish tasted off — as if they were spoiled or expired. Not long after eating, I experienced stomach pain and was genuinely concerned that I might have ingested something unsafe. I’m reaching out not only because of the discomfort this caused me, but also out of concern for food safety and the well-being of your other customers. I understand that issues like this can sometimes happen, but I hope it can be looked into to prevent any further problems. Thank you for your attention, and I hope to continue enjoying your food in the future without any issues. I really enjoyed your food and it’s been one of my favorites thai spot in Vancouver, however, I had this bad experience and I wanted you to know that so you can fix it asap and offer the great service you always provide.
